She became famous in 1976 when she made the only ever perfect 10 on the asymmetric bar at the Montreal Olympic Games. Then she scored six other perfect 10 which made her the youngest Olympic overall gold medalist who was just 14 years old. Nadia Comaneci has not only been the focus of attention everywhere but also helped Romania to find a spot in the world map. This sporting icon stepped into limelight after she scored an impossible score, thus creating a legend and popularizing the sport of gymnastics all over the globe.
