Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of fourteen. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd became more confident after her win, and she won three bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated in the 1st round. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen, and beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's records as a professional were affected. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career in professional boxing. InvictaFC 11 was her debut professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta 16 saw her rise up to Bantamweight after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her formidable grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and defeated her in the second round via TKO. As for her final fight for the promotion, she defeated Sijara Eubanks in a an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She defeated Lina by pounding and grounding her to the ground, gaining the TKO during the second round. When she next faced Tonya Evinger at UFC 229, her victory was more spectacular. Ladd beat Evinger with a punch during the initial round, she was awarded a Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was the first match she's had in a major way. Ladd, who won the unanimous decision after a great back-and forth fight between the two fighters, was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds and ended her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya lost in the 3rd round at UFC 7 on ESPN. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. The decision was made unanimously against her.
